How to Apply

Students wishing to apply for a place at VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology), can do so by choosing one of the following options:

  1. If you are an international student, apply now by filling in our International Students Application Form (PDF)
  2. If you are an Australian student, you can apply by filling in, either;

Semester 1 Courses 2015 through VTAC

You can apply directly for courses/programs listed in the VTAC Guide at VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology) if you are:

  • NOT currently studying Year 12 in Australia and
  • Intending to submit an application only to VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology)

Applicants who are intending to apply to more than one institution and all current Year 12 students must apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).

Before you submit your Application

Before enrolling in any VIT course, please make sure you are aware of the course content, duration and mode of delivery. If you do not have this information, then it can obtained it by emailing info@vit.edu.au

Ensure that the application form has been fully completed and signed and all course entry requirement documents have been provided;

For International Students these may include: English proficiency documentation (IELTS), Academic transcript, and a Copy of your passport

For Domestic Professional Development and Short Course, these may include: ID (Identification such as Birth Certification, Passport, Drivers Licence and/or Australian Citizen Certificate)

For Domestic Full Course Students these may include: ID and Academic Records

What happens next?

Upon receipt of your application you will be sent a letter of offer, detailing total course costs, course duration and course details. For International Student this will be sent to you or your education agent via email and will include a copy of the Enrolment Acceptance.

If your application is approved and you accept the offer you must submit the Enrolment Acceptance to VIT. Once VIT receives the signed Enrolment Acceptance it will accept payment (via bank draft or electronic transfer) and confirm your enrolment.

If the submission documentation is incomplete your application will not be processed and you (or your education agent) will be contacted for the required information.
